Genpharma Sdn Bhd is one of the subsidiary corporation of Pahang Pharmacy Snd Bhd. Pahang Pharmacy Sdn Bhd was founded in 1971 as a retail pharmacy at Kuantan in the state of Pahang. Over the years, it developed into a pharmaceutical based distribution company. Today, Pahang Pharmacy Sdn Bhd and the subsidiaries are recognized nationally as a pharmaceutical manufacturing and marketing company in Malaysia.
It was the founders vision that set the mission of Pahang Pharmacy that excelled through last 36 years into manufacturing and marketing of quality generic pharmaceuticals, evidence based functional health supplements, hospital hygienes and farm disinfectants, animal health and nutritional, and recently the biotechnology based diagnostics.
The current management led by second generation ...undertakes to ensure product quality, efficacy and safety by upgrading the GMP standard to international PIC/S certification. With enlarged force of research based pharmaceutical professionals from India and widened technical cooperation with US, France and Switzerland technical groups, we are gearing up for export to Commonwealth countries, ASEAN, South America, China and the Middle-East. We are anticipated to see the famous brands of Live-Well tm and NutraEdge in their health stores, Steriline in their hospitals, Genesis HEALTH, TOTAL animal nutrition in their farms.
Our Q.C. Laboratory impressed many foreign visitors not only due to well equipped facilities but also because of many highly qualified personnels.
Animal Health & Nutrition Division:
The division was originally set up in 1990 to distribute veterinary range of products manufactured by pharmaceutical principals and, later become sole distributor of multinationals like Alpharma Animal Health and Schering-Plough Animal Health, both from USA. The division expanded into manufacturing of nutritional premixes under the brand TOTAL Animal Nutrition and later the liquid and soluble powder range namely Genesis HEALTH and GLENDALE Animal Health. The division started its export to Hong Kong, Indonesia and Myanmar five years ago and, with the GMP status, we are gearing up our activity in Vietnam, Philippines, Pakistan, Bangladesh and China.
Apart from well-equipped laboratory support for quality and safety of products, we are also having in-house facilities to run Elisa and sensibility tests, a service provided for our livestock customers. Read more
