Amoxycillin is a broad spectrum, semi-synthetic penicillin active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The range of effect includes: streptococci, not penicillinase producing staphylococci, Bacillus anthracis, Corynebacteria spp.
| | Indications: |
Infections of the alimentary tract, respiratory tract, urogenital tract, such as flu, pneumonia, pleuropneumonia, rhinitis, oedema, dysentery, enteritis, nephritis, cystitis, urethritis, dermatitis,coli-mastitis
| | Contra indications: |
Do not administer to new-borns and small herbivores such as rabbits. Do not administer as S.C. injection to horses. Do not administer to animals with a hypersensitivity to penicillin's and to animals with a severe renal failure.
