V.M.D. a Belgian pharmaceutical laboratory established in 1973, has matured into one of the most reputed companies in the field of veterinary pharmaceuticals. With 35 years of experience in veterinary practice, V.M.D. has acquired extensive knowledge of veterinary work and requirements of the veterinary profession.

Belgium is situated in the heart of Europe, at strategic crossroads between major European cities and countries. For many years, Belgium has been intensively engaged in both animal husbandry and livestock industry. Despite fierce competition, V.M.D. has managed to become one of the leading veterinarian companies in Belgium.

Our main activity (80%) consists in the production and distribution of veterinary medicines. At present, V.M.D. offers more than 50 pharmaceutical produc ...ts for intensive livestock, all of which are registered with the Belgian Authorities in accordance with the latest European criteria and produced in compliance with the guidelines and regulations concerning Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Several European projects are still pending.
Furthermore V.M.D. enlarges its activities with the wholesale of veterinary surgical instruments (10%) and trading in feed additives and pharmaceutical raw materials (10%).

Our research and development team consists of experienced veterinarians, pharmacists, biologists, chemists, masters of agricultural science and laboratory technicians.

With an average of 12 years of experience in their respective fields, the V.M.D. team fully understands the problems associated with veterinary practice and medicine and holds the knowledge how to manage them in an appropriate and scientific way. This ensures that all our products are of the highest quality.
