X-ray Applications

We are a Belgian company active in the veterinary field, providing
/digital radiography solutions/.

Compared to film radiography, digital radiography technology offers
imaging without wet-film processing, shorter exposure times, a larger
dynamic range, and digital imaging. These features, combined with
instant image retrieval and a tolerance for exposure time, offer
advantages in field radiography. Film also requires photographic
equipment that can be inconvenient and time consuming, and film
processing also poses an environmental problem. Costs reduce through:

- labour saving
- less waste
- fewer stockage requirements

We currently propose /two CR systems/, the CIRIX 8, /light and
compact mobile system ideal for on site diagnostic/; handy for equine
radiography. T ...his entirely portable system can easily be mounted as well
on your regular radiology table. It is the reason we have recently
completed the CIRIX 8 system with a 'double plate' option. The 8'x17'
phosphorous imaging plate is now available in 16'x17' size for bigger
animals.

The second equipment is the CIRIX 14, is a high quality desktop
Computed Radiography system for single plate CR Reader applications that
accommodates one or more separate QC workstations. /The CIRIX 14/ /is
designed to fill the need for a high quality CR imaging system, with
daylight operation, integrated read/erase and throughput of 50 plates
per hour (14'x17' cassette)/. The system is designed to be interfaced to
your PACS or other imaging network so that scanned images may be
forwarded to a printer or server for reading at review stations. The
system may also be operated stand-alone, reading images at the QC
workstation and archiving to individual media.

Soon we will propose DR systems which perform digital capture and
image processing without the need to handle cassettes. DR systems
convert x-rays directly from a digital detector panel into a digital
image. DR is considered a direct conversion process. Read more
