KARL STORZ Endoscopy India Pvt. Ltd., (KSEIPL) is a 100% subsidiary of KARL STORZ GmbH & Co. KG (KST), Germany, its office being located in New Delhi.
Endoscopy technology, as the name suggests, provides an optical access to view inside the body through minimal invasive methods like providing access through natural openings or though creation of small ports (key holes) both for examination purposes and for surgical interventions.
Karl Storz manufactures wide range of veterinary endoscopy instruments for usage in wide variety of animals and birds. There are certain procedures which cannot be ...done in any other way. The small and delicate nature of many birds makes them ideally suited to endoscopy. In fact, the benefits of magnification, illumination & minimal invasion have led to the acceptance of endoscopy as a routine diagnostic technique worldwide beyond visualization.
Together with a group of researchers from across the world, we have developed a system which makes endoscopic examination possible and highly effective . In addition to visual examination, during each endoscopic procedure we can also collect biopsies for histologic and molecular evaluation without sacrificing the animal. This represents a big step in the animal Research .
Indian market for now nearly 50 years with a mass base in India for last 30 years. Even veterinary supplies in India are over a decade old now.
The company has a State of Art Service Centre with well trained team of 8 Service Engineers . The Company also has a mobile service van to provide minor repair and maintenance service at the doorstep.
Also , we wish to inform you that we have the largest number of veterinary user base worldwide and in India. Fourty five veterinary Institutes /Centres work on Karl Storz sets which includes Academic Institutes/ Research Centres/ Defence/ training centres/ Animal Husbandry deptt/ Race Courses & Stud Farms/ Municipal corporations/ Dairy corporative/ Private Practitioners etc. Some have even multiple number of sets. Presently we have around 50 installations in India. Some of the Research Institutes like IVRI-Izzatnagar, CSWRI-Avikanagar, CIRG-Makdoom, NRCE-Hissar, NIRRH-Parel etc are already using our set.
