Contains per ml: Sulfadiazine Sodium 100mg Trimethoprim 20mg

Verschreibung

The combination of Sulfadiazine Sodium and Trimethoprim acts synergistic and usually bactericidal against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp.

Indikation

Gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by TMP and Sulfadiazine sensitive bacteria, E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Toxoplasmosis , Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp., in horse, foal, calves, cattle, pig.

Kontra-Indikationen

Hypersensitivity to trimethoprim and/or sulfonamides. Administration to animals with a serious impaired renal and/or liver function or with blood dycrasias.

Nebenwirkungen

Occasionally, temporary swelling at injection sites may occur

Dosierung

For intramuscular administration:
At a dosage rate of:
Horse, cattle ：0.15 ml. per kg body weight,
Calves, goats, sheep, foal and swine: 0.2ml per kg body weight
Dog & cat : 0.3ml per kg body weight
Once or Twice daily
For 2-3 days

Rückruf-Zeiten

- For meat : 12 days.
- For milk : 4 days.
