Isometamidium, an aminophenanthridium compound has trypanocidal action used in curative and preventive treatment of animal.Indikation
For prevention treatment of trypanosomiasis in cattle (incl. Zebu), buffaloes, sheep, goat, camels, equines & dogs.Semidium could be combined in integrated programmes in order to control the development of resistant strain and potentially preventive action of isometamidium.Duration of the prevention effect varies from 8 to 16 weeks according to fly challenges.Kontra-Indikationen
Do not inject subcutaneously. Do not inject more than15 ml at site of injection: in case of higher volume, divide the total dose in 2 inj & inject at different sites. Do not inject Semidium with another Trypanocide at the same time.Nebenwirkungen

12.5ml (1% solution) of sterile water.
1g: deep i.m. or slow i.v. routes
Dissolve 1g of powder in 50ml (2% solution) or 100ml
(1% solution) of sterile water.
