Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic Properties
Ampicillin and colistin considered as a bactericidal agents in which their antibacterial activity is linked to the maximum plasma concentration (Cmax) above the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC).

Ampidoxe Reach the desirable therapeutic blood levels within one hour after parenteral administration and are maintained for about 12 hours post injection.

Indikation

Cattle, sheep, horses, swine : preventive and curative treatment of infection caused by organism sensitive to ampicillin and colistin against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp.,Pasteurella spp., Bacillus anthracis, Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., E. coli, Haemophilus spp., Proteus spp and Klebsiella spp.

Kontra-Indikationen

Do not use in pregnant female during the last third of gestation.
Do not use in rabbits and rodents.

Dosierung

Administer by: Intramuscular, subcutaneous or intraperitoneal route.
Target species: Cattle, sheep, goats and horses.
The general dose is: 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight every 12 hours, during 3 days.
Note: shake well before use.
