Infections caused by microorganisms that are sensitive to Oxytetracycline. Local and generalized infections; and, prevention of infections after surgical and gynecological interventions. The addition of Dexamethasone promotes antinflammatory, antiflogistic, antialergic, anti-stress and gluconeogenic effects.Kontra-Indikationen
- Do not administer oxytetracylcine hydrochloride together with penicillin, due to the bacteriostatic drugs interfere with the bactericide action of the penicillin. As with other antibiotics, the use of this medicine can increase excessively the non-sensitive organisms. If any unusual sign is observed stop using immediately and call a veterinary doctor.- Do not use on pregnant animals (mainly on animals on late pregnant stage) since the dexamethasone produces abortion.
- Due to the dexamethasone presence, Agrosona, it is not recommended during viral infections, osteoporosis, cardiac, renal or hepatic dysfunctions nor on diabetes mellitus. If it is used for excessively long terms ; the dexamethasone can cause a decrease of the resistance in front of infections, retarded wound scars, muscle atrophy, myopathies or osteoporosis.
- Do not administer along with antihistaminic agents nor barbiturics (these agents stimulates the dexamethasone degradation in the liver) since the dexamethasone action diminishes and the action period of the barbiturics shortens.

- Do not slaughter the animal for human consumption after 28 days from the last treatment.- The milk should not be used for human consumption after 3 days from the last treatment.
