PROPERTIES AND EFFICACY:
ESPIRAMIC is an injectable solution based on Spiramycin, a macrolide antibiotic antibacterial of broad spectrum.
Its mechanism of action allows a middle life of elevated efficacy achieving high therapeutic levels for long periods.
The higher concentrations are obtained in kidneys, liver, bone marrow, and lymphoid tissues, acting as bactericide and bacteriostatic.
It has no toxicity and has a good tolerance.

Indikation

ESPIRAMIC is indicated for prevention and treatment of infectious symptoms provoked by germens Gram positive, Gram negative, mycoplasmosis, some Coccidias y Rickettsias.
Bovines, ovines, and goats: infectious gastroenteritis, umbilical discharge, lung diseases, ocular infections, mastitis, metritis, septicemia, actinomycosis, anaplasmosis, arthritis, etc. .
Suinos: Lung diseases, infectious gastroenteritis, atrophic rhinitis, mastitis, arthritis, etc.Birds: chronicle respiratory disease (CRD), mycoplasmosis, infectious sinusitis in turkeys, synovitis, respiratory tract infectious, etc.
Dogs and cats: staphylococcis, streptococcis, rhinopharyngitis, conjunctivitis, metritis, alveolus pyorrhea, lung diseases, etc.

Kontra-Indikationen

Dosierung

Parenteral route: Deep intramuscular route.
Bovines: Adults: 1 ml each 20 kg of alive weight. Calves: 1 ml each 10 kg of alive weight.
Ovines and goats: 1 ml each 8 kg of alive weight.
Porcines: Pigs: 4 to 5 ml. Puppies: 2,5 ml each 20 kg of alive weight. Adults and reproducers: 15 to 25 ml.
Dogs and cats: 0,5 ml each 4 kg of alive weight
Birds: 0,5/1 ml for each kg of alive weight.
Oral route: It can administrate with water or milk in the ratio of 0.5 ml for kg of weight.
Topic route: As eye drops in ocular infections diluted in half boiled water.
