One of the Division's most popular training courses developed for the industry is a two day Animal Welfare Officer course devised for personnel with responsibilities for ensuring animal welfare in-plant. The course was first launched in February 1993; since then, there have been over 76 AWO courses at sites across the UK, Europe and Internationally ( see history ).
